What we collect

This site collects personal information in one place: the enquiry form on the contact page. It asks for your name, email address and a note about your business, and optionally your company, your phone number and the service you are interested in.

You do not have to use the form. You can call (978) 914-1885 or email contact@sammikconsulting.com instead.

What happens to it

When you send the form, it goes to our website host and is emailed to SAMMIK Consulting so that we can reply to you. The email is delivered by Postmark, an email delivery service, through an account run by Whitecap Data, who build and look after this website. The reply-to address is yours, so our answer comes straight back to you.

So that an enquiry is not lost if an email goes astray, a copy of each submission, together with the IP address it was sent from, is also kept with our website host for up to one year and then deleted automatically.

As the form says, we never share your details. There is no newsletter and no follow-up sequence, just a reply from a person.

Hosting and other services

• Cloudflare hosts this website and runs the form handler. Like any web host, it processes routine request information such as IP addresses to deliver the site and keep it secure.
• Cloudflare Web Analytics runs on every page. It counts page views and page load performance without setting any cookies, and it is part of the hosting rather than something you are asked to accept.
• Google Fonts. The site's typefaces are loaded from Google's font servers, so your browser requests them from Google, which receives your IP address and browser details as part of that request.
• LinkedIn. The LinkedIn links on this site are ordinary links. Nothing from LinkedIn loads here unless you follow one.

Cookies

This site sets one cookie, and only to remember your answer to the cookie banner. There is no advertising, no cross-site tracking and no social media pixel anywhere on this site.

On your first visit we ask whether you are happy for us to use analytics. If you decline, or if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, the analytics are never loaded and we remember only your choice.

Matomo, our analytics tool, runs without cookies on this site, so the consent cookie above is the only one set, even after you accept.

Analytics

If you accept, we use Matomo to understand which pages people find useful. It records the pages you view, the site you arrived from, your browser and device, and an approximate location such as country or region.

• Matomo is self-hosted by Whitecap Data at matomo.whitecapdata.com. The information is not sent to Google or to any advertising network.
• Two bytes of your IP address are masked before anything is stored, so the full address is never kept.
• Query strings are removed from the address of the site you arrived from.
• Raw visit data is deleted after 90 days. Aggregate reports, which contain no individual visits, are kept for 25 months.
• There are no heatmaps and no session recordings.
• If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, Matomo records nothing even after you accept.

Withdrawing consent

Use Cookie choices, here or in the footer of any page, and choose Decline. Analytics stops from the next page you open. You can also delete the sammik_consent cookie in your browser settings, and the banner will ask you again.
